Research
My research focuses on urban transportation planning, resilience in public transportation systems, and sustainable and smart mobility solutions. I explore the impact of crises on urban transport, particularly how public transportation systems adapt and recover from disruptions such as pandemics. In an era of rapid technological advancements, urban transportation remains plagued by inequities, particularly for vulnerable communities facing both physical and digital accessibility barriers. Therefore, my research interest lies in developing resilient, inclusive, and sustainable urban transportation systems that can withstand disruptions while ensuring transportation justice for all. Currently, I analyze the role of shared mobility in improving urban accessibility. Through mixed-methods research, I aim to develop evidence-based recommendations for building sustainable, people-centered transportation systems that benefit individuals of all backgrounds and abilities.
