This year we hosted the 2023 edition of the International Symposium on Platial Information Science (PLATIAL'23), which took place in the U-Tower in the city centre. In this context, our member René Westerholt acted as one of the editors of the symposium proceedings, which have now been published in full. The individual peer-reviewed papers were already published before the event, but the now published proceedings compile them into a single volume, which also includes an editorial and two workshop reports that have only recently been published (see below for references). One of the workshop reports was written by our team members Liudmila Slivinskaya and Víctor Cobs-Muñoz, who conducted a workshop on the use of the so-called Place Standard Tool using the example of Dortmund Central Station.

Enjoy reading the 116 fine pages full of contributions on place, information, analysis, and related topics!
